In view of the significant number of outpatient and inpatient attending our hospital with almost entire spectrum neurological problems we have requested our higher authorities about establishing a Neuro Medicine Department as per MCI norms in this hospital with appropriate required infrastructure facilities to provide adequate and improved quality of neurology care and also to facilitate initiating post graduate courses in medical specialities in our hospital.

The proposal is under purview of the Government and soon we may expect a fully established NeuroMedicine unit at Government Theni Medical College
